CuboFlix
Netflix-inspired streaming platform consuming a movie API, with search, daily highlight and light/dark mode.
Project developed during the software development course at Cubos Academy.
The challenge was to create a website called CuboFlix, inspired by popular streaming platforms. The application consumes data from an API to display information about movies and allows various interactions.
Main features
- Display of a list of movies available in the API
- Movie search by name to quickly find titles
- Highlight of the day, where a random movie is featured on the homepage
- Movie details modal with additional information about the selected title
- Light and dark mode with persistence after page refresh
