Family Shopping Tracker
Full stack app for families to organize their shopping: real-time shared lists, price history and product registration from photos with OCR.
Web application to manage household shopping, designed to be used by the whole family at the same time.
Built with Next.js and TypeORM on PostgreSQL, with real-time updates over WebSocket (Socket.IO) and in-browser label reading with OCR (Tesseract.js).
Main features
- Sign-up, email and password login and password recovery
- Families with invite codes and shared shopping lists
- Lists updated in real time for every member
- Purchases recorded per store, with price history and variation charts
- Local OCR on photos to suggest new product entries
- Admin dashboard with users, access logs and metrics
- Multilingual interface
